LocalPlan attempts to bring information about planning and citizen participation at a neighborhood level to the web.   We strive to create discussions about topics that would be useful to individuals, like ourselves, who are interested in become engaged within their communities.  Finding new and creative ways to share information is key in ensuring that regular citizens have the opportunities to contribute positively within their community, that's part of what we hope to accomplish here.  We also enjoy sharing information that we come across in our own quest to understand the mechanics of how communities work and we hope that you'll find it useful.
